Ama Odia Paribara — your Odia home in Northeast Florida
Odia Society of Northeast Florida (OSNEF) gathers year-round to celebrate language, festivals, music, dance, and seva. We plan events together, volunteer together, and make room for every generation at the table.
Odia Society of Northeast Florida (OSNEF) is a volunteer-led nonprofit. We are not a ticketed venue or a social club on paper — we are neighbors who show up for pakhala debates, garland-making, dance rehearsals, and the messy, joyful work of keeping culture alive for the next generation.
What we do together
Our calendar is built by members — here is how we spend our energy through the year.
Festivals & gatherings
From Rath Yatra and Diwali to Banabhoji and Anand Bazar — we host large cultural celebrations and smaller family picnics so Odia traditions stay alive in Jacksonville.
Language & youth
We support Odia language, arts, and youth participation — helping kids and students connect with heritage while building leadership and friendship.
Community seva
Members step up for food drives, newcomer welcome, elder outreach, and local partnerships — carrying Odia values of care (seva) into everyday life.
Fundraising & grants
Anand Bazar and donor gifts fund hall rentals, cultural programs, scholarships, and community aid. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit — contributions are tax-deductible.
Our festivals & events
We host 4+ major cultural gatherings each year, plus picnics, planning meetings, and seva drives. Highlights from our calendar:

What your gifts make possible
Donations through Zelle, Anand Bazar fundraising, and sponsor partners stay in the community — they fund the programs below, not overhead for its own sake.
- Festival halls, sound, prasāda, and decorations for Rath Yatra, Diwali, and more
- Youth and family programs — games, performances, and cultural workshops
- Community outreach — meals, newcomer support, and local charitable partners
- Operations that keep OSNEF transparent and volunteer-run
